Kohima, Feb 14 (WE THE NAGAS): The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland has published the final electoral rolls for the Koridang Assembly Constituency under Mokokchung district, which is due for a bye-election.
According to the publication, the total number of General electors stands at 22,266. This includes 11,235 male and 11,013 female voters.
In addition, there are 124 Service electors enrolled in the constituency, comprising 123 male and one female voter. With this, the overall total number of voters in the Koridang Assembly Constituency has reached 22,390.
The publication of the final electoral rolls marks a crucial step in the preparation process for the upcoming bye-election. Electoral authorities have urged all eligible voters to verify their names and details in the final list to ensure smooth participation in the democratic process.
The Chief Electoral Officer’s office reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a free, fair and transparent election in accordance with the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.
