Phek, Feb 16 (WE THE NAGAS): Dr. Neisatuo Mero has urged farmers to adopt scientific and innovative approaches to strengthen agricultural development and improve income generation.
Speaking at the Joint Kisan Gosthi programme for Chizami, Pfutsero and Kikruma under Phek district on Saturday, Dr. Mero emphasized that modern agricultural practices combined with the conservation of local resources can significantly enhance sustainability and productivity.
He highlighted the importance of collaboration between farmers and technical agencies, stating that effective coordination and knowledge-sharing are essential to address emerging agricultural challenges. Encouraging farmers to embrace innovation, he underscored the need to integrate traditional wisdom with scientific advancements for long-term growth.
