Zunheboto | March 7 (WE THE NAGAS): Zunheboto Government College (ZGC) observed International Women’s Day on March 7, under the theme “Give to Gain.” On this occasion, the Women Cell of the college undertook a community outreach engagement to foster meaningful interaction between female students and elderly women aged 70 years and above. This initiative aimed at providing students with an opportunity to learn from the wisdom, life experiences, and enduring strength of senior women in the community.
In commemoration of the day, fifteen widows from Zunheboto town belonging to the 70+ age group were warmly greeted and honoured. Their stories of perseverance and lived experiences offered valuable insights to the students, encouraging empathy, respect, and a deeper appreciation of intergenerational bonds.
